You'll find yourself at one of many set spawn locations, Your first objective is to find a town to loot for supplies and weaponry. It is advised that you keep crouched or prone when approaching and travelling through the location to avoid attracting zombies. Search the structures inside the town for anything that can be used as a weapon. A backpack should be your next priority, as the ability to carry more supplies will enable you to survive longer. Until you have a backpack, keep your inventory clear of excess weaponry to allow the gathering of extra supplies.

When you have a melee weapon, a power attack deals significantly more damage than a regular attack. Power attacks use up stamina and the damage done by melee weapons may be increased with thewarrior skill. You may perform a power attack by right-clicking.

If your spawning location is not satisfactory, you can suicide your character until you find a better one.
